As a member of a consortium led by the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation, inmedio participates along with COWATER (Brussels), the IDP-Women-Association “Consent” (Tbilisi) and the Institute for Development and Social Initiatives (IDIS) “Viitorul” (Chisinau) in the implementation of the EU-funded project EU4Dialogue (Component 1) – Supporting Understanding betwen conflict parties. The project runs from 2020-2025 and aims to contribute to the transformation of the unresolved conflicts in South Caucasus and Republic of Modlova. This action builds on a regional, individual and multi-country approach, promoting EU best practices and ensuring compliance with human rights law, including on gender equality and the new EU Strategy on Women, Peace and Security. Its specific objective is to establish an environment that is conducive to diffusing tension and fostering better understanding amongst conflicting parties and stakeholders. This environment will be achieved by providing the EU and the concerned partners in the region with adequate, timely and professional technical assistance for the implementation of the initiative, as well as fostering synergies with and between related EU actions and policy. The project aims at encouraging dialogue and fostering better understanding across divides through conducting studies, organising events, trainings, and workshops on various levels and in various settings for participants from all our four beneficiary countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova.
