After welcoming two groups of representatives of local government authorities for mediation trainings in Berlin in 2013 and 2014 in Berlin as well as 2015 in Dubai, inmedio berlin will continue its collaboration with the Nigerian NGO National Peace Summit in 2017. The objective of National Peace Summit‘s approach and the workshops in Berlin is to empower the local authorities to better address the needs of their local population. Engaging in a proper dialogue with the local public is seen as an essential part of this approach. In the long-term, this will hopefully contribute to a reduction of support for radical movements. Further workshops in Berlin and Dubai took place in 2017.
