Now online: delvyDialogue facilitates consensus-oriented collaboration on a joint text

Who hasn´t experienced this: When working on a joint text with a larger group, you quickly end up with a confusing number of contradictory comments, canges and suggestions – but without any way of decision making.

In the framwork of our German-Russian-Ukrainian dialogue project, together with Fritsche & Koenig GbR, we have designed a consensus-oriented tool which enables collaborative working on one text. Unlike the usual public online forums (that often lead to provocative statements and hate speech), this tool provides a confidential space for constructive dialogue on a joint text. At the same time, it prevents one from ending up with lots of contradictory comments without any fruitful agreement. This is achieved by ranking systems of different levels of agreement. An algorithm automatically inserts the option with the “highest” consensus among all users of the online tool into the main text. Now available open source and for free use

Upload your text and invite your group to work on it!
