Professional Integrated Mediation

The Civil Peace Service (CPS) of GIZ Ethiopia conducted an intensive Mediation Qualification Programme in cooperation with the House of Federation as implementing partner and inmedio berlin, whose trainers conceptualised and facilitated the programme. Numerous participants – from indigenous mediators to state representatives – developed a tailored mediation approach for Ethiopia, that combines traditional approches and mechanisms and facilitative mediation, that is predominately used in the Western world. The Film accompanies the trainers and participants in the course of the training series in 2010-11.
